An ocean light haunted by avocet and tern
and the knapped towers of North Norfolk churches.
Towering clouds above
the flint and gorse of
a wide East Anglian landscape
And my Folks
and the knapped towers of North Norfolk churches.
Towering clouds above
the flint and gorse of
a wide East Anglian landscape
And my Folks
The way I have ALWAYS known them
Pacing out the country paths
Arm in Arm
and
Hand in Hand
How endearing that they still share their path of adventure arm in arm.
ReplyDeleteThat last picture really does capture the essence doesn't it.

ReplyDeleteThank you Kelly. When I was young, I thought that everyone's parents/marriage was like theirs. It was only later when I found out what a privilege it is to have them as role models. They have taught me a lot about relationships and the importance of growing together...

ReplyDeleteYes, Mandy, you can, can't you? And they are always such unconscious, spontaneous acts - which seem to make them even more genuine and precious.
